Finally reunited with Jaxon, Grace begins to feel safe again - until Jaxon's brother, Hudson, reappears with a vengeance. Now back at the school, she is haunted by fragments of days she doesn't remember living, as she struggles to understand who, or what, she really is. When she arrived at Katmere Academy, mortal Grace's world turned upside down. Danger, romance and excitement await in the unputdownable and addictive New York Times bestselling sequel to Crave. I’m not too sure how I feel about the love triangle introduced in this book, but that ending could lead to some interesting places, so I am excited to pick up the third book.Trust no one. Speaking of established characters, however, this book just reaffirmed for me that Macy is the best character in this series, hands down, no doubt about it. I might have been broken up if that had happened to one of our established characters. However, I didn’t have the time to get attached to them so much so that that part of the book really hurt.

We did meet a few new characters in this book, and I liked them. The rules of the government here and the magic system just to be whatever makes Grace the center of attention and the most important person, and whatever puts her in the most dangerous situations. It’s obvious that Tracy Wolff wanted to write a supernatural story, but that she didn’t spend a lot of time establishing the rules of the supernatural world. However, just like there can sometimes be in fanfiction, this series doesn’t seem to have a lot of direction. Now, don’t get me wrong: I love fanfiction! I read it all the time. I think my main complaint about this book (and the series as a whole) is that it reads like fanfiction. All in all, I’d call this a enjoyable read and a (mostly) solid sequel. I got frustrated with this book, at some parts. My Thoughts: I had fun with this book, at some parts. All I know is that saving the people I love is going to require sacrifice. The only thing Hudson and Jaxon agree on is that leaving Katmere would mean my certain death.Īnd not only am I fighting for my life, but now everyone else’s is at stake-unless we can defeat an unspeakable evil.

The Circle is caught in a power play and the Vampire Court is trying to drag me out of my world and into theirs. But far worse enemies are at our doorstep. He insists there are secrets I don’t know about, threatening to drive a wedge between Jaxon and me forever. Just when I start to feel safe again, Hudson is back with a vengeance. I’ve returned to Katmere Academy, but I’m haunted by fragments of days I have no recollection of living and struggling to understand who, or what, I really am.

Synopsis: Everything feels off-especially me.
