Their personal struggles get resolved through understanding,grace and forgiveness. These issues bring depth to the story as they were forced to be together at first but this time together they spend it gracefully and calmly taking about their past. Well she gets the shock of her life when her past catches up with her and she has some tough decisions to make.Īgnes and James are both very likable characters, both have some issues to work through. Thinking she's doing the right thing to protect him, Agnes moves away from the one she loves and tries to forget him as she starts over in a new town and becomes a teacher. A second chance at a romance, will the main characters take it? This book will make you happy reading it. I never would have guessed this was a debut novel.I absolutely loved this book, so uplifting and such a feel good read. The narration by Coleen Marlo brings this wonderful story to another level of emotion. Many life lessons are learned by those around her and maybe even by some who read or listen to this story. I loved seeing Em blossom into the woman she was meant to be. I've listened to this book at least three times and still get tears in my eyes at a certain point.
There are some very heartbreaking moments too. I can't give details but they are in for a few surprises. The most handsome sheriff, Caleb is anxious to find the bad guys and help Em as much as he can. Needing a place to recover she is taken in by a loving family, with the exception of the eldest daughter, Eliza is a spoiled snob. Em is barely alive when she found bleeding and taken to the doctor in Azure Springs. Where do I even begin? I loved this book!!! It is filled with so much heart, hope, and all the emotions.
